“Success comes in cans, not cant’s” is what number 1 beauty guru Michelle Phan says on her youtube page. Maybe that was her motto when she started posting beauty tutorials, back in 2007.
Vietnamese-American make up artist Michelle Phan is one of the most beautiful girls on the web and her dream is “to help women empower themselves with this art, makeup”. Another beautiful quote that Michelle shared on her page was “Are you chasing your dreams? Or are your dreams chasing you?”. Michelle started posting videos recorded by her MacBook three years ago and now one of her dreams of becoming a professional make up artist has come true. So her quote may have something to do with her career going through the roof. From posting low quality videos (and I’m not talking about the content quality) to becoming Lancôme’s first video make-up artist takes a lot of work and perseverce, and Michelle had it!
As a long time subscriber and supporter of her channel, I am very happy for her! Too bad other people trash her channel with comments like “You’ve changed, you are a sellout!” or “Lancôme is expensive and they test on animals!”. I know Michelle is a big animal lover and would never advertise for a brand that tests on animals, so people should really stop judging her choice to support this brand. It was her dream and no Internet bully should say what she would do or not! In her “My Exciting News!” video she seems so happy about her dream coming true and she explains what being the first Lancôme video make up artist implies. I’m happy if she’s happy! This is any young girl’s dream and she made it there! Good for her!
Michelle’s page has almost 200 milion upload views and she is the first most subscribed guru on youtube. With over 800.000 subscribers it’s clear that her dreams are starting to chase her. Michelle Phan doesn’t let all the fame get to her. She also has a charity channel where she posts bloopers from her tutorials and “Every month, a selected charity from the viewer’s request will receive all of the profit accumulated from this channel”. Not only beautiful, but also kind and generous! That’s the Michelle Phan youtube knows and loves!
Why is she my web inspiration? Because ever since I started doing my make up following her advice, I feel more confident and I don’t consider myself that ugly anymore. I was pleasently surprised when Michelle did a Sailor Moon tutorial. Sailor Moon is my childhood hero and I never thought you can recreate the manga look onto your own human face! Well here is where Michelle proved me wrong! I love the look and I hope I’ll get to try it once! The ending of the video is very inspirational. It made me cry, so prepare your tissues before viewing it!
Michelle has a potty trained bunny called Mr. Bun Bun that is just adorable! No wonder her other screen name is RiceBunny! The little rascal even sleeps besides her. I could only dream of such a pet! This picture is from Michelle’s twitpic. Prepare for ultimate cuteness:
Michelle Phan’s youtube channel has videos for every ocasion. You name it: prom, graduation, wedding, make up for glasses, smokey eyes and so on and so forth… She has already done it. And let’s not mention the amazing Lady Gaga inspired make up tutorials! One word: amazing! I can bearly wait for her next tutorial! Even though I believe she can’t be even more amazing than in her previous video, Michelle is there to prove me wrong once again! 101 videos posted in 3 years seems so few to us addicted viewers who want new looks and ideas from this amazing artist!
The ricebunny who is done chasing her dreams deserves her #1 place in the guru charts and I wish her all the best. And thank you, Michelle! Thank you for inspiring me to experiment with make up and believe that every girl can be beautiful! Never let the haters bring you down!

Am strâns peste 50 de screencaps cu ce a mai căutat lumea pe google de a dat peste blogul meu. Îi invidiez sincer pe oamenii cu o imaginație atât de bogată. Nici prin gând nu mi-ar trece să caut asemenea tâmpenii. Probabil pentru că imaginația mea nu a atins asemenea cote.
Hai să vedem cu ce ne amuzăm și pe cine aplaudăm:
Scuzați-mă, dar nu era youtube locul unde cauți tot felul de filmulețe cu tâmpiți dansând pe “Single Ladies”? De ce ai căuta pe google ceva ce vrei să găsești pe hi5? Și de ce ai ajuns pe blogul meu? Nu știi că cele mai relevante rezultate sunt primele? Bine, dar având în vedere că ai tastat cu picioarele și fără creier, nu mă mir că ai ajuns în locul nepotrivit. Dar eu te primesc cu drag, timid utilizator al Google-ului!
Nu e niciun secret că internetul e plin de perverși care caută o largă varietate de filme porno. Dar pe mine mă minunează cum de ajung aici. N-am filme porno cu femei și câini. Scârbos! Din nou observăm cum entuziasmul de a găsi filmul porno dorit a atins cote maxime, utilizatorul Google e mult prea nerăbdător să vadă dacă a scris bine. Și nu e primul de genul ăsta! Aveți grijă să scrieți “porno” corect, că altfel ajungeți de râsul lumii. Nu de alta, dar eu n-am ce face și îmi place să mă iau de oameni proști.
Recunosc: am fobie de clovni și nu-mi place Harry Potter. Am văzut câteva fragmente din film acum câțiva ani și eram gen: “boooring!”. Nu îmi plac filmele de genul ăsta. Singurul film/desen animat cu puteri super wow care mi-a plăcut a fost și este Sailor Moon. Atât!
Măi, oameni buni, lăsați-o în pace pe Miley! Se aruncă constant cu căcat în ea. Are 18 ani, pentru numele lui Dumnezeu! Nu e o curvă. Curvă e Tila Tequila. Miley doar crește. Devine femeie. Asta nu o face curvă. Lăsați-o să trăiască! Ok, a avut pozele alea stupide ca de pițipoancă de pe la noi. Dar asta n-o face curvă. Adică nu merită să fie comparată cu Tila Tequila sau Kim Kardashian. Alea sunt curve. Măcar Miley nu a avut niciodată o casetă porno.
Dacă Lady Gaga ar arăta vreodată normal, nu ar mai fi Lady Gaga. Ar fi doar Stefani Germanotta. Și femeia asta răspunde la acest nume doar când e chemată la tribunal. Și probabil că doar acolo arată ca restul oamenilor. Lady Gaga nu a pozat nud explicit. Eu nu o văd pe coperta lui Playboy. Are mai mult stil. A pozat nud “ascuns” pentru OUT și Rolling Stones, dar nu o văd pe coperta Playboy în veci. Nu pare genul ei.
Utube l’obsession? Credeam că în țările francofone tot “Youtube” se zice. Și da, poți avea o obsesie cu youtube-ul. Eu dacă nu intru zilnic pe youtube, înnebunesc! Youtube e un loc genial unde poți găsi tot ce vrei (În afară de filme porno, mai ales regale…regale? Serios? Doamne!!!). Acolo nu trebuie să scrii “caut un videoclip în genul sailor moon”. Pur și simplu tastezi “sailor moon”. Simplu, nu?
Din nou cu vorbitul cu Miley. De data asta, pe google. Cum? Cum poți vorbi cu cineva pe google? Înțeleg că motorul ăsta de căutare te ajută să găsești anuminte informații, dar nu te ajută să vorbești pe bune cu cineva, fie om normal sau vedetă. Încearcă skype, messenger, facebook, msn…din astea…
Lady Gaga naked tocmai ți-am dat, dar ce ai cu Michelle Phan? Fata e super frumoasă, într-un mod angelic. Nu o văd pozând goală vreodată. Ea face ce știe cel mai bine, și anume tutoriale de make-up.

Eu m-am săturat să tot găsesc asta la căutările ce duc spre blogul meu. Mă bucur că sunt citită, dar nu mi-am dat doctoratul în Lady Gaga. Dacă ar fi să fac asta, am zecele asigurat, nu? Ok, suficientă laudă! Hai să trecem la porno search post time!
Am comentat anterior despre curiozitatea celor care caută în neștire poze cu Lady Gaga nemachiată, așa că nu am de gând să mă mai repet. Dar, frate, sunteți constanți, nu glumă!
Yutube? Serios? Ai mâncat o literă, dar să zicem că te iert pentru asta. Dar cum naibii ai ajuns aici căutând un episod din serialul ala? N-am auzit de el până acum, dar după un google sănătos, am aflat că rulează pe Kanal D. După nume pare o telenovelă idiană. Nu mă dau în vânt după așa ceva, deci nu voi posta o recenzie sau ceva asemănător. Îmi pare rău că te-am dezamăgit, drag cititor accidental al blogului meu!
Când spui “most subscribed musicians in Romania”, mă gândesc că destinația butonatului tău ar fi trebuit să fie youtube. Faza e că România nu are youtuberi, adică oameni care să aibă o meserie din postarea clipurilor lor pe youtube. M-am ofticat și eu la faza asta și-mi pare rău că n-ai găsit ce căutai.
Bă, sunteți bolnavi! Film porno cu Michelle Phan? Fata aia e super drăguță și talentată. Locul ei nu ar fi niciodată într-un film porno, nici măcar în imaginația voastră! Sunteți dezgustători! Pentru cei care nu știu cine e Michelle Phan…e cel mai de succes make-up guru de pe youtube (cu peste 500.000 de abonați la pagina ei) și primul video make-up artist pentru Lancome Paris. Am mai scris despre ea, dar am să postez încă o dată o poză cu ea.
Acum că știți despre cine era vorba, continuăm cu ce au mai căutat unii obsedați pe google, și anume porno cu cai. Probabil acești oameni au fost atât de grăbiți să găsească așa ceva, încât au greșit scrierea și de-aia au tastat “pormo cu cai”. Eu ador caii și mi se întoarce stomacul pe dos când văd astfel de căutări. Nu numai că vreți pornografie cu animale (scârboși oameni mai sunteți), dar vreți pornografie și cu Lady Gaga. La cât de celebră e, nu cred că ar avea nevoie de un film sau niște poze porno. Nu ca tine, Paris Hilton! Cred că dacă Lady Gaga ar semna un contract cu Playboy, mulți fani ar fi în extaz și nu ar mai trebui să se chinuie cu Google pentru poze nud cu ea.
Ca un bonus, poftiți o poză cu Michelle Phan machiată precum Lady Gaga. O să găsiți pe pagina ei de youtube și tutorialul aferent.
Ce naiba e vladon.de? Probabil un site din Germania, dar nu asta era căutarea ce mi-a atras cel mai mult atenția. Mi-a plăcut la nebunie “vreau să vorbesc cu miley cyrus dar treb”…și continuare e un mister. Probabil nu te lasă părinții, sau probabil ai nevoie de numărul ei de telefon sau adresa de mail. Alte idei nu-mi vin. Să înțeleg că ești un fan Hannah Montana undeva pe la vârsta de 13-14 ani și ai dorința aia nebună de a lua legătura cu idolul tău că altfel o să mori? Te înțeleg perfect. Și eu vreau să vorbesc cu Miley…dar…cred că mă confrunt cu aceleași impedimente ca și tine. Îmi pare rău, chiar nu am cum să te ajut, mai ales că nu mai are nici cont de twitter să poți lua legătura cu ea.
În sfârșit! Cineva care m-a căutat pe mine! Altfel de ce ar fi zis “moon wordpress”? Vreau să cred că cineva chiar a vrut să citească ce scriu eu și că nu a ajuns aici din greșeală. Mulțumesc! Ce pot să zic?:)
Parodie pe manele? Mai ales…parodie după Ray Charles? Ce a făcut omul ăla greșit în viața lui ca să se facă o parodie pe manele după muzica lui? Sper că o astfel de chestie nu există! Nu de alta, dar nu vreau mai multe semne că lume asta se duce de râpă. Criza mondială e suficient, mulțumesc!
O să mai scriu chestii de genul ăsta pentru că am material din belșug. Consider că pentru azi a fost suficient!
Ca o curiozitate, care a fost cel mai aiurea lucru pe care l-ați căutat pe Google? Sinceritatea maximă e apreciată!:)

They’re either in my subscription box or I just watch their videos on a regular basis because they really have something interesting to say. Here’s a list of my favourite youtubers in alphabetical order, to be fair.

Natalie Tran is a 23 year old girl who vlogs about random stuff and has an obsession for mums…your mum, my mum, everybody’s mum. I love her accent and the way she looks. I’m sorry she was the first runner-up for Miss Youtube. I hope next year she’ll have the top place.She’s asian, but was born in Sidney. Her sarcasm is one of a kind, even though Buck said she is known to be the unfunny girl on youtube. Dude, leave her alone! She is funny in her own way. I like the fact that her channel is named communitychannel pure and simple. Lack of inspiration doesn’t mean lack of originality. Nat, you rock! Love your videos!
She is just gorgeous! And she wants us to be gorgeous too. She is a fashion guru and her videos are mostly tutorials on how to create our own beauty products, or how to make-up or do our hair. After seeing her tutorials I mostly say to myself: “Why didn’t I think of that thing?”. Michelle’s videos point out that anyone can be beautiful. She is also an artist. Her latest video is her painting a character from a video game she likes. This girl is not only beautifull and wise, but she is also talented. I can’t wait for a new video. It’s a shame she wasn’t even nominated for Miss Youtube. She could have made the top 10 in my book.
I discovered him when watching Michael Buckley’s nominations for Mr. Youtube 2009 and I decided to check out his channel. My first reaction? “Oh, my God! This guy rocks!” He vlogs on different subjects and makes kick-ass parodies that I love to watch again and again. His cats, Muffins and Snoop are famous too. It’s adorable when he includes them from time to time in his videos. I love his “feminine side”, Shanaynay, a former drug addict HIV positive prostitute who makes you laugh with anything she/he/it does. Shane Dawson has great videos and I hope he beats Fred’s subscriptions. He deserves it! And he deserves to be Mr. Youtube!
Gay youtubers are funny, but Buck is hilarious! I love how he makes fun of every celebrity out there and not feel guilty about it. WHATTHEBUCKSHOW wasn’t enough for him, so he created the channels peron75 and bucknews. He calls himself a journalist and that’s where I couldn’t agree more with him. If all TV journalists were more like him, watching the news would be a guilty pleasure. He has an obsession for Miley Cyrus news…but on the other hand, who doesn’t? I love the song he wrote for Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift, “Their”, it makes me laugh so hard. This song should be promoted more! Sha…
